ryankeesler 0 Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 Hello everyone, I cloned my HDD to an SSD which had emby installed on it. I also recently transferred all the media off this old HDD to a Raid USB 3.0 drive. I now get the following error when trying to play videos. Playback Error No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator for details. I don't know how to get logs and I'm not sure what's really going on. I'm hoping someone here may know. Thank you in advance.
Carlo 4561 Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 Check your file/directory permissions for the user account running Emby Server. Check to make sure paths in the library are correct. Pick a media item that isn't playing such as a movie. Click the 3 dot menu and open edit metadata. At the top will be the path to this media file. Verify it is the correct path.
Solution ryankeesler 0 Posted July 17, 2020 Author Solution Posted July 17, 2020 Yep, I feel like an idiot. I had everything pointing at F:\ drive and the one thing I couldn't access was E:\ ... Changed to F:\ and it works now.
