Delete/Remove movie from library but not from drive

How can i delete a movie from my library but not delete it from my drive?

I tried this with first renaming the folder with the file but i get an error message file delete permission error (which is correct because of the renaming)

But how can i only remove a movie from the library?

Hi.  Emby is designed as a self-maintaining system so anything it sees it will import.

You either need to move the item out of the locations where Emby is pointed or use the ".ignore" feature to ignore a particular folder.
