Selecting On Now episode incorrectly displays the channel info screen

2020 LG OLED CX

1. Use the home screen's vertical layout

2. Select an episode from under the On Now section, or, navigate to Programs and click an episode from under the On Now section (don't click into the "full" On Now area as this isn't a problem there)

3. Notice that the channel info screen (displays all the show episodes for a channel) is displayed instead of displaying the episode's info screen (in order to record, etc.)

Is this a known bug?  How soon will this be fixed?  I'm evaluating the LG app as a replacement for WMC.
