Paulshelling 9 Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 I don't know if this is possible, but instead of removing a feature due to performance concerns (which I've seen be the case for a few removed features) why not move the option into it's own section with a warning that it's potentially unstable and likely to cause problems related to peformance - you can also note these are no longer being supported. All of these settings would be off by default however it allows people who want any of the features to continue using them - an example being the listing of music videos under an artist's name. Allow us to make compromises in regards to performance instead of removing features we may rely upon, if possible.
ebr 16184 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 It really isn't possible to manage software in this fashion. It not only complicates the software for the end user but also for continued development, maintenance and support. We strive to strike a balance between customization and a friendly, usable interface that performs as expected. 1
