LG TV App and Oppo as a Player

Hi there, 

With the Android App I can start and play a Movie with my Oppo via DLNA. Ist it possible to have the same Feature in the LG TV App? (Sorry for my bad English)

Hi, you want to do that from the TV? Wouldn't that be a little more cumbersome than the phone?

Hi Luke,

emby runs very smooth on my LG TV.

I use my TV as a media center. I watch TV, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney + and Emby all at the push of a button. (LG Remote)
Emby does not play any ISO files and the LG TV cannot play all 4K films smoothly, it would be a great option if you could select a suitable player directly via the TV app.
Of course, this works with the Android app, but it would be much more convenient directly with the TV app.
