raevengel 0 Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 Hi, I’m in the process of setting up Emby and moving from a previous install on Linux (specifically moving from Mint to OpenSUSE). I’ve seen several articles and even a listing on OpenSUSE’s sort where I can add an Emby repo so that it automatically updated with my other packages. Is there a reason this won’t work rather than downloading and installing the rpm manually each time? Thanks so much in advance!
Luke 42077 Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 Hi, our opensuse repository is obsolete now. The rpm is currently the only method that we offer. We may create a repository for it at some point though.

FWIW, this is a definite vote to adding Emby to the repos again. That would be amazing and would definitely be helpful in making updates much easier and faster.
