I have disabled "Are You Still Watching" under the Playback section, but it is still popping up. Can you please tell me why this will not disable?

Hi there, what Emby app are you seeing this in?

Posted

Emby Version: 4.4.3.0

Streaming App: Roku

Did you go into the settings in the Roku app and disable that option?

No I did not only through Emby. I will change that now. Hopefully that will fix the problem.

Thank you.

Not at this time.  In the TV apps it should only occur on a program change when you haven't touched the remote for an hour.

No it's not, and I can't tell now if it worked because I started having this loading issue. Sorry, I can't say whether or not it's resolved.

I'm sorry. I am not sure what you are asking me.

Asking the dev what the idle interval is for this setting.  I want to say something like 3 hour of no user interaction.

@itgreen9 I split out your new issue into the Roku forum.

Thanks.

Ok thanks. Once I resolve that then I can tell you if the original issue is resolved.

Remember that you need to be completely idle for a period of time. That means no button presses or any other form of input .

Also keep in mind this is device dependent.  When you make this change in the web interface it only affects the web interface.

Ok, thanks.. Unfortunately I have not been able to solve the issue of the next show not loading to see if it worked. I will reach out if I still have this issue once the other issue is resolved. Thank you all so much.

Great we'll help you in your other topic. Thanks.

Provide a way to delete this useless and unwanted feature. I see no need for it, and the constant interruption every few hours is more than annoying! Going to have to install an older version to get rid of it and other problems created by updates that either don't work right, or are totally useless!

@grnmchIt should be in you users playback settings.

The second to last check box.
