New Emby Premier user issues

Hi,

just installed emby and configured my EMBY server and add my first movie folders (100 4k Movies ) 

My HW: Intel10700K\Nvidia Quadro P2200 \ Win10Pro\64GB ram\synology NAS 2gb 

Issues:

1.When playing a movie 4k from my web emby player,if im trying to move forward the movie ..is getting stuck

2.The movie output (for nerds) added picture ..u can see that the video codec is not supported ..why is that ? and why im transcoding  and not direct play the movie ? im on the same pc were the server is installed .

3.I configured the advance trans coding settings already ..

Hi.  Web browsers do not support the type of audio and video you are trying to play so the server is converting it for you.

so if my friend is using the application on his TV ,then yes the trans coding will be done ?

Each device/app supports different codecs/containers, so the decision whether or not to transcode is made by Emby each time it is contacted.

What type of TV?

It still depends on several factors.  If your Sony TV is Android TV and you are using our Android TV app and have set the app to downmix to stereo, then I believe that item would direct play (given enough bandwidth).
