Twixter 4 Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Hello, i've been using emby for about a week now and i noticed that in my movies library it's showing a lot of extras and trailers on the front page which i would much rather see when clicking on the movie. My folder structure looks like this: ---------MAP----------- ------------------------------------------------------MAP--------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------FILES------------------------------- Movies > Moviename (year) > Moviename (year) - Extras Moviename - Trailer Moviename - Specials Moviename > Moviename (year) & Extras, Trailers & Specials ( i did not rename any of the extra files just the map) I would like to know how to prevent these extras and trailers showing up in my movie main page. also i could remove them all by hand but is there a way to "blacklist" them (preferably just blacklist them from showing up the front page but still be visable in the movie map once opened, because i don't wanna delete everything just to have it come back the next library scan. Thanks in advance

Painkiller88 250 Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 In every folder you want to be ignored just create an empty .ignore file this let emby know to ignore everything inside this folder and sub folders 1 1
daedalus 434 Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 hope it helps, cause i neither get what exactly you want nor how your media i currently named if configured correctly, following the wiki page above, extras only show up in the extras section on the movie detail page and nowhere else
