nilojr 2 Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 Hello! Just wanna ask if it is possible to manage individual user to allow or deny access to premiere feature. Thanks
mastrmind11 722 Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 yes you can restrict what each user can do from the users section of the admin panel.
ebr 16184 Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 Hi. It depends on exactly what feature you are trying to restrict. Can you please explain what you are trying to do? Thanks.
nilojr 2 Posted June 29, 2020 Author Posted June 29, 2020 I mean how can i disable premiere access like on iOS devices and Emby theater for example they can only play media for 1 minute because it requires emby premiere
nilojr 2 Posted June 29, 2020 Author Posted June 29, 2020 I hope admin access should have option for individual premiere activation or per account user to enable or disable emby premiere

If you are setting up a friend or family member to give them access to your media why limit them in this fashion? Emby does give you the ability to grant access based on devices per user. So if you didn't want them using a device you could just remove that device from their access. You could for example setup an account for a baby sitter with access to PG 13 movies and under and lock it to the family TV for example.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 @Luke @ebr what is the hidden user policy.xml "<DisablePremiumFeatures>false</DisablePremiumFeatures>" option for?
