SKUNKSERVER 0 Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 hi, so i have pics that are saved in my emby server and it is stored in my computer. I had to reinstall linux and now i cannot recover the photos because it says that the server is offline. plz help. most recommended if you guys can just reset it without damaging the data in it. tnx
mastrmind11 722 Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 I hope you're not meaning to say that you reinstalled the entire OS of the server that's running Emby. If you are, then you need to reinstall Emby and add the photo library back. Assuming your photos reside somewhere other than your server's hard drive, they will be reimported and you should be fine. Which OS and how did you reinstall? Reset what, exactly? You control your Emby server, no one here does.
SKUNKSERVER 0 Posted June 24, 2020 Author Posted June 24, 2020 mastrmind, it kind of reinstalled the entire os running the emby server. i am using fedora 31 and the photos are only in the server so i was hoping that some emby admin could access my server and recover my photos. tnx
Luke 42079 Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 Are the photos located on the same drive as the OS?
SKUNKSERVER 0 Posted June 25, 2020 Author Posted June 25, 2020 no. it is just in the server, like literally no back up
SKUNKSERVER 0 Posted June 26, 2020 Author Posted June 26, 2020 seriously? like even the creators of emby can't help??
