Fire TV doesn't connect to new server

I am trying to migrate away from a full PC as my Emby media server to Raspberry Pi. My first attempt with DietPi OS didn't go so well, but the latest build of Rapsberry Pi OS (Debian Buster) is working better. I have not issues playing media via a browser or from the Android App on my phone. However, it is not working from my FireTV stick. When I run the app, it sees the server, but when I try to connect, the app just hangs for a bit, then crashes (returns me to the main FireTV screen).

Is this in your own network?  Are you logging in directly to the server or using Emby Connect?

Is you server set up for external use?

I have the same problem. When I try to connect from a computer or android/ios there isn't any problem, but when I try the login from a Firestick, it return to the main page (after I had put the username and password). Any solution/ideas about this problem?

- No, the server is not in my network

- I'm logging directly to the server

- Yes, is setup for external use

@Alan1234 try "forgetting" the server then trying it again and see if that works.

No, but I have renamed my firestick name from my account amazon and it work, I don't know how is possible hahah
