William LeDuc @gmail 2 Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 I have library of TV Shows where one series is just a collection of various music shows all in season 1. There is 114 items. Two do not show up in the Emby's normal display. So I thought is was a metadata problem, but they don't show up in the Metatdata Manager either. Why would that happen. Converted one from MP4 to MKV. There both there and neither show up.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Just a guess but could Emby have merged them in to one of the other items so it is considered multi-version? You would have to go into each episode to see if there is a multi-version drop down box. If there is you should have a Split apart option near the bottom by Media Info.
William LeDuc @gmail 2 Posted June 18, 2020 Author Posted June 18, 2020 Thanks for the idea, but I don't see a multi-version drop down.
Luke 42085 Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 We'd have to look at a specific example, but most likely they were merged.
William LeDuc @gmail 2 Posted July 8, 2020 Author Posted July 8, 2020 Thanks for asking. I should have updated the thread. It was a naming problem with some numbers in the file name that were being interpreted as episode info. I wish there was some way to turn off the episode lookup.

Have you explored the internet metadata fetching options for your library?
