aryankanse6 0 Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 (edited) I'm using something called SyncPlay to watch movies with my friends long-distance. I have thsee movies on my PC all located in one folder. With SyncPlay, you can't all play the same file unless the other users have it locally. Is it possible to share my folder with them through the Windows "Sharing" feature? They aren't on the same network, so I'd need to share over the internet. Is this possible? If not, is there some program which can make this possible? Thank you!usps tracking showbox speed test Edited June 19, 2020 by aryankanse6
pwhodges 2012 Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Not easily as a Windows share. But you can install Emby and do what's necessary to allow your friends to access it simultaneously to watch the film on your system. You'd have to use some other sharing software to chat and to synchronise the start of your viewing (Skype, Discord, Zoom, whatever). Paul
