DTS transcoding on Nvidia Shield

Hey all, 

I have a Nvidia Shield set up with the Sonos playbar/one surround system. 

 

Unfortunately it doesn't support DTS audio, however all of my 4k content is DTS. 

 

is there any way to have Emby automatically transcode the DTS down to AC3?

Hmm, it does not. 

Is this something I need to change on my Emby dashboard, or in the TV app?

I figured it out! I didn't even see the DTS settings in the menu. Cheers!

If your device doesn't support DTS then you will not see the setting.  The next version will give you more control over when the conversion occurs but you will likely lose 5.1 for DTS if you choose not to convert it.

Are the DTS Pass-thru options under Settings... Playback enabled?
