Emby Tagging Problem

Hi,

 

If i have 2 Versions of a Movie FHD and 4K, and i wanna add a Tag "HDR" to my 4K Version, this is not possible only for the 4K Version.
The Tag is now in both versions. I can select 4k or the normal but the Metadata incl. the tags seems to be the same.

How can i add Tags like Atmos, HDR10, Dolby Vision etc. only to the Versions really having them?

Hi.  Tags are associated with the item, not the version.  You cannot really see individual versions of movies in searches and such so tagging a version wouldn't have much use.  If you really wish to have different metadata for your different versions, you might consider making them different items instead.
