TrackZ 16 Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 When using MKV merge utilities or MakeMKV, you can assign a name to an audio track. MediaInfo reports it as the "Title". I use these to denote information about the audio track. For main tracks, I'll label it for the codec, like "DTS-MA 7.1". But I often keep commentary tracks in my MKVs as well, so I'll use that field to name it, like "Director Commentary" or "Cast and Crew Commentary". It would be nice if this information was read and displayed where pertinent in the clients. 1
Luke 42079 Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 This will be in the upcoming server release. We're not going to re-probe existing videos though, so it will require manually refreshing titles. @@Happy2Play i can't find the other more recent threads about this but i think you might have an idea where they are. thanks.
