TolkienBard 58 Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 (edited) Ever since the major Windows 10 feature update (2004 I believe), I have been unable to connect to the server from outside the LAN. I have checked that the IP address is correct. I have checked that my port forwarding has not been screwed up. Emby still has firewall permission. I am on Emby version 4.4.3.0. I'm unable to locate any android mobile app logs that tell me anything. I have attached the latest server log, though I don't think it will help much. The server still works like a champ on the internal LAN. It is only outside connections that are not getting through. Network setup is set to default on port 8096. The allow remote access box is checked. The remote IP filter is blank and the allowance is set to whitelist. Public port is set to a matching 8096. Anyone else having this issue or have any ideas what I can poke to get this thing working again? embyserver.txt Edited June 12, 2020 by TolkienBard
WilhelmStroker 102 Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 This happened to me too after I replaced my router and it turned out to be the network connection set to public rather than private. Worth verifying as I've seen that getting reset after feature updates.
Zodler 18 Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 I also had a problem after Windows update and restarting my router solved it! Not like this problem but it solved it.
