Lost my server

Just restarted the computer, and I can't connect to the server, I get the error - This Emby server needs to be updated, 
After several attempts, I got frustrated and decided to reinstall the latest version 4.4.3.0. Once that had installed, all I got was a welcome screen with the same startup options on first install,

followed the steps keeping the information the same as before, it then presented the select server screen, and this stage I came here and logged into my acc before proceeding with the selection, so I click on my server and it pops up with This Emby Server needs to be updated, it was a fresh install, so it is up to date. 
To be honest I have no love for starting a fresh server, takes hours for the library scan's to complete, so if it is possible how can I get connected to my server, like I said all I get is that message when ever I click on the name of my server.

For now, stop trying to login with Emby Connect but instead login directly to your server using the admin account.

Does that work? What version does it say is running?

I tried everything, admin acc and connect, eventually I gave up, I just rebuilt the server from scratch, was surprising faster than I remember.

Anyway no harm done, this topic can be closedd

Holy Crap! This just happened to me. I'm going to try and restore my server from a backup. I hope I have a backup. I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THIS EMBY!

last night was a nightmare. The server disappeared and I used my login info, but it was a blank server. I used the backup feature to restore it, and everything came back double. I tried to delete one of the double folders and both folders would delete. I dumped the server and in the process of creating new. Oh, what a night! come on and sign backup with me; "oh what a night".

Sounds more like you had network or machine issue (firewall) and instead of fixing the actual issue jumped to a bad decision that caused you grief.
Did you happen to look at the Emby logs to see what the issue was?

Yes, I realize that the issue is on my end. Is that what you wanted to make clear to the Emby community. I'm man enough to admit the error was on my end. One of the kids picked up a bug on his pc, and it spread to my server. There, I hope you're happy now. Thank you for your concern and saying, I hope you get your issues resolved. Umm Cayars, you know I was just joking around with that last post right? Well, I was wondering if you could help me with a small issue. I have my server back up and running, but my movies are missing the cover. Like 99% of the movies only are missing the box cover. All of my other folders are 5x5. Any suggestions my good and helpful friend.

Wow, sorry to hear about the PC bug/virus thing.  What did you use to clean it?

Can you upload a screen shot, showing what your pics look like?

Also for your movies, are they identified and have meta-data, just no pics?

2 shots from movies and 1 from TV. TV is working fine, but movies need help.

What does your movie library settings look like for meta-data providers?

It's updating correctly now. I accidentally, in all my chaos last night checked the create preview and I'm using .strm files. shhh, don't tell anyone I did that. I don't want to get kicked for a noob move.
