ff and rewind with channel videos

I notice that I can now ff and rewind trailers but is it possible to implement this for the other streaming videos like vevo? The videos should be compatible with WMC. BTW Vevo does not play any videos. I remember it worked when I tried it.

What we've done with trailers was pretty much a hack.  I'm not sure it will work with most other channels.

yea they best way to get this in MBC is to use the server's downloading feature. other clients will be able to use more advanced techniques but not mbc i'm afraid.

I wouldn't want the server downloading vevo videos. How will that work?  I will just use the roku or win 8 app.

 

It will be hard to move from WMC since I have a cable card. Maybe I can if I ever decide to move to OTA broadcast which is unlikely because I need my sports and news.
