Hey everyone, like the title says, I am unable to log into my server from outside my local network. I've tried adding a new Server with the Remote IP, and I have tried Emby Connect and it will not work. Any idea what can be happening?

Thank you.

Hi.  Have you properly configured your network for external access?

Connectivity

Hello, I have been using it for years. It was working fine yesterday, and today I woke up and it is not working anymore.

Perhaps something in your configuration changed.  If you go through that troubleshooting, exactly where does it fail?

Which troubleshooting are you referring to? The Connectivity page? It fails at trying to reach the WAN IP from a web browser, it says it can't be reached. I double checked my Port Forwarding and my Firewall.

Are you positive neither your internal nor external IP address changed?  Do they show properly on the dashboard of the server?

Yeah they have the right configuration. I don't know what's going on with my router, I restarted it and now the server is working fine. Thanks for your help.

Might want to delete the IP as anyone that has it can now connect to your server...

Yep, you definitely should delete that. I confirm. You can access it and you have no password!

That's like the first thing administrators should say! 😉

I don't see where the IP is showing? And it should have a password. Can you elaborate please?

Like I said above, it turned out to be my Router that was having issues and after I restarted it the server started working again. I was just asking where they're saying that my IP is visible and the server has no password because I can't see that and my server should have a password.

Hi. I edited your posts to remove the sensitive information.

You should check each of your users in the "Users" area of the dashboard and ensure they have a password set.
