Emby keeps on building a Music library

Hi,

 

I created once a Music library with Emby running on my Synology NAS. As i noticed slower performances from my devices after that to access and refresh my movies (maybe due to the large number of files in music library) I decided to remove the music library.

But now I noticed that every time Emby is updating the libraries, it recreates the Music library too. Is this normal behavior, and if so how to manage permanently this issue?

Thanks for answering. Embysvr profile / settings / libraries / then I select the option remove from the 3 dots at the bottom right of the picture of my library picture. I did that both from phone and PC. The strange thing is that after posting the first message i checked again and it was gone. So it seems it Emby builds and removes it without my control

Hi.  When you remove that library, it should start a library scan.  Did you see that happen and did you allow it to complete?

To be honest I don't really recall, I don't think I really saw something happening because I remember repeating the process a couple of times. Anyway, it might not be an issue anymore, I'll check tomorrow morning if I have a new music library when I wake up...

Sure. You mean the Libraries tab or the Advanced tab?

And by the way, i didn't se the Music library again this morning, so it might have been a one time thing.
