Accounts Clean up

Good day,

I'm trying to clean up an account with my emby and I keep running into problems.

I deleted it from my emby ( it was cloud linked ). 

I tried to recreate it again but with a different username and password. 

The email already exists...

 

Can a moderator please pm so i can resolve this?

Hi.  Deleting a user from your server will not delete their Connect/Forum account if there is one.  It would need to be removed here via the forum.

Thank you for getting back to me.

It's a bit convoluted and in hindsight, stupid of me.

Long time ago I created the default account MCX11 (with my yahoo.com account, which is now retired) and I think I changed it to bflagg@ptd.net, but it may be brett.flagg@outlook.com. 
I just don't know what this account used for email and I have no way to check.

 

I've been trying to recreate my online account tied to my emby account profile for me (Brett with email brett.flagg@outlook.com)

When I try to create it online, it says account already exists. (so i think it's tied to my other account).

 

Accounts in my Emby home is:

 

Amelia (internal only) - ok

bbkf - it should be tied to valerie.flagg@outlook.com but I have no way to tell

glflagg - he's ok

lamar04 - he's ok

Mcx11 - it's emby connect name is bflagg (how can I change this?)

 

What started all this mess was my current account (Brett) had a emby online username of flir48 (my old yahoo) and it seem like i can't change that.

So i deleted Brett from Emby and .. that's it as I can't see to get rid of flir48 and the mess associated with it all.

This all stemmed from when I first installed Emby and really didn't understand back then how it ties together.

 

 

I'm trying to create an account for myself:

Local Emby account: Brett (done)

email: brett.flagg@outlook.com

emby connect username: bflagg

 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi account information is detailed, I don't' think it's wise to post it all in public forum.

bflagg is the account you are logged into right now.  You can go to your profile and change the email address there...
