Music Collections not working

Hi,

 

I'm not sure if i should report it as a bug or a feature request.

I have Music albums (Sampler) where every few months a new Vol. is released, i wanted to put them all together as a collection but it is treated as a movie, it shows me the movie collections to create a new one.


How is it possible to make a music collection?

I organise them in my computer file system structure, and use the folder view as my default.

Yeah thats more or less a workaround, but not the way emby should work with Audio Collections.

Maybe a Emby Team member knows how to do it or if this has to be a feature request.

you can create music collections in emby

 

just created one with a few random albums

How do you to this?

When i select more albums and click add to collection i see my movie collections and can create a new collection here, but i don't want to have Music in my movie collections

collections are global so when you create one for albums the dialog that comes up shows all collections

 

but as its a collection of albums it does not appear in movie collections via the collections tab when in movies library

 

you get access to it via the collections library - as there is no option in music to see collections

 

to create it just go to albums tab in music library - select a few albums and add then to a collection via multiselect or one at a time
