No compatible streams error message

Not sure if I should post this in "feature requests" or here.

I moved my files around some days ago, didn't think through the impact to Emby library.

Unsurprisingly, Emby couldn't find them.

What I would expect next is a message like:

 

/volume1/media/tv/FavoriteShow/Season 3/FavoriteShow-S03E17.mkv: No such file or directory

 

But instead the viewer returned:

 

"No compatible streams"

 

Seeing how many users seem to be struggling with this error message, I'd like to suggest an improvement to Emby that highlights the error that is otherwise buried in the ffmpeg log.

 

(If this is already noted as a feature request somewhere, would love a pointer to +1 it.)
