Disable transcoding for certain content

Is it possible to prevent transcoding either from a certain library, or by the type of content being streamed? I would really like to add 4k content to my server, but it will die if people are transcoding it to lower resolutions.

 

Is there anyway to restrict transcoding just for 4k content? I could separate it into a different library if that would help.

Hi, you can't do it at the library or content level at this time, only at the user level. This type of request has come up before so it's always possible for the future. thanks.
