Kincaid 1 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I few days ago I got this message in my notifications but I didn't mind because it was working again. Now I get it again, everytime MB tries to sync for the last 24 hours. The complete notification: Sync library to trakt.tv failed. 4 minutes ago Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt. Is this a trakt problem or is something wrong on my side?
Deihmos 169 Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 I think there is something going on with trakt. I tried to sync my play states from trakt but it did not mark a lot of my shows as played. It worked perfectly before.
AlwinHummels 134 Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I still have this error is there a fix for this?? I saw when I disable my series on the trakt plugin it works good but when enable series I get Sync library to trakt.tv is mislukt. 9 minutes ago De objectverwijzing is niet op een exemplaar van een object ingesteld. So the error must be on the series level IMO. hope this could help you fix the problem. 1
PurposelyCryptic 31 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Just wanted to throw in a 'Me Too', as I've been encountering the same issue; Library just doesn't seem to want to sync with Trakt.Excerpt from my log: 2014-08-15 12:05:50.8463 Info - App: Executing Sync library to trakt.tv 2014-08-15 12:05:50.8923 Info - App: HttpClientManager POST: http://api.trakt.tv/user/library/movies/all.json/77449c38c9f4f9b3cdb8d3f9ef0566b167a935eb/lordckt 2014-08-15 12:05:54.8005 Info - App: HttpClientManager POST: http://api.trakt.tv/user/library/shows/watched.json/77449c38c9f4f9b3cdb8d3f9ef0566b167a935eb/lordckt 2014-08-15 12:06:00.5751 Error - App: Error Object reference not set to an instance of an object. PurposelyCryptic 31 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 (edited) I still have this error is there a fix for this?? So the error must be on the series level IMO. hope this could help you fix the problem. I just noticed that in my log, when it failed, when it processed Movies it posted this: 2014-08-15 12:05:50.8923 Info - App: HttpClientManager POST: http://api.trakt.tv/user/library/movies/all.json/77449c38c9f4f9b3cdb8d3f9ef0566b167a935eb/lordckt whereas for Shows it posted: 2014-08-15 12:05:54.8005 Info - App: HttpClientManager POST: http://api.trakt.tv/user/library/shows/watched.json/77449c38c9f4f9b3cdb8d3f9ef0566b167a935eb/lordckt It could just be nothing, but given what you mentioned about the issue possibly lying on the series level, the difference seems suspect. Maybe it is trying to sync the wrong thing, which in turn is throwing an error? Just my 2 cents as someone who hasn't had a proper look at coding since college... breezytm 124 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Trakt.tv plugin keeps sending notification about my sync library to trakt.tv failed. I can't seem to understand why? I am not sure what the error message even means. Any idea? Sync library to trakt.tv failed. 15 minutes ago Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Log.txt

breezytm 124 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I am still getting a whole lot of these error messages. Any progress on this issue? Thanks,

Luke 42079 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 We are working on it and hope to have a resolution soon. 2
breezytm 124 Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Not sure what that means but I put "????????????????????????" because I asked a question and no one answered.
breezytm 124 Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Thanks guys. 'Working on it', 'can't work on it right now' are good enough answer for me. 1
ebr 16184 Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Sorry, folks but we are stretched pretty thin right now with several projects and things like these fall to the bottom of the list. We are actively looking for devs to help out with these smaller tasks. 1
Guest walkme70 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Was just wondering if anyone has solved this issue. I've just recently rebuilt my media server and now I'm getting this error. I've updated to the latest version. Version 3.0.5490.2, and Trakt version is 3.0.5492.20429.
Happy2Play 9781 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) The latest info can be found here. Edited January 19, 2015 by Happy2Play
Guest walkme70 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Awesome, I saw the update in the MB portal and once installed and restarted it's working like a dream - many thanks
TeHaX 0 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I can confrim that everything went fine since last update. GREAT JOB!
Pine 8 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Still not working for me. It is months now that I am having this problem (used to work fine before). How much longer to fix this?
Deihmos 169 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 It stopped working for me. I think I'll just leave this alone for now.
