Max bitrate on Xbox One X?

Hey all,

 

Trying to see if my Xbox One X should be able to handle high bitrates.  Currently playback falls apart on files with a bitrate of 35mbps or higher.  I was under the impression that the One X should be able to perform better than regular streaming devices (Firestick, Roku, etc).  Is there a limitation or do I have to look for other issues?
