iPad/iPhone media access over shared network path

Hello,

 

I'm wondering whether my iOS clients can access the media directly from my NAS without having to stream via the Emby server.

 

I am able to access my media directly with Emby for Kodi, however iOS clients get their streams through the Emby server.

 

Currently I am using SMB:

\\192.168.1.64\Public\media\movies

HI, no, this is currently not supported, but possible for the future.

 

Keep in mind the app can still direct play without server transcoding. thanks.
