4K playback quality - Media bitrate exceeds limit

@bakes82 why do you feel that it's setup for a mobile format?

My guess is because things look massive, especially on a 75" 4k screen, things can be side by side.  I also didnt change anything so if it was in mobile format thats not correct for a shield and could be a reason

What mode do you have it set for @bakes82?

Have you tried changing it to TV Mode in the options?

I’m not running it. It’s not officially supported on the shield.  Once it’s pushed out to the shield via the store I’ll look at it again.

It's officially supported on the Shield.  It's just in testing is all.  It can co-exist with the normal ATV app and doesn't interfere with that app at all.

So you can use it to test with or to look at how it's doing things but then switch back to "old reliable" for normal use.

 This issue is still persistent i think we need an unlimited butrate option

Just pick the highest one and that accomplishes the same thing.
