I just added 2 versions of Blade Runner to Emby along with a trailer and some extras.  I added the first version of the movie from one disc, then the making of from a second disc.  Then after ripping the 2nd version of the movie along with additional extras, now no extras or trailers show up at all.  I have merged the to versions of the movie in Emby, split them and still, no extras/trailers.

I checked the naming convention and I have them as "extras" and "trailers".  I even moved these folders to a different movie and they showed up just fine.  But when I move them back to the Blade Runner folder, they disappear again.  So I'm completely stumped.

Thanks for any help you can provide

Yes this is resolved for the next release. Thanks.

Is it resolved in the current beta?

I accidentally left a stub file in a movie's folder after adding the MKV, and when I removed it I ended up with two copies of every extra. One copy had a thumbnail and one didn't. Rescanned and it was fixed, although the thumbnail versions were the ones that were removed.

Hi guys. Just checking to see if the fix for this was released. I'm currently having what I think is the same issue. The movie versions group fine but the extras show as separate "movies"

/moviename (year)

/moviename (year)/moviename (year) - 3D

/moviename (year)/moviename (year) - 1080p

/moviename (year)/extras/extra 1

/moviename (year)/extras/extra 2

/moviename (year)/extras/extra 3

Haven't seen a issue.

Thanks for the super quick reply, as always. Here are some screenshots. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but can't see what it is. I have quite a few movies with multiple versions, but this is the first one that I've added extras too. There are 2 movie versions and then 3 other files in the extras folder. All 5 are showing as independent movies.

Thanks again.

@sponHave you removed, scanned, then re-added this media?

If that does not work, can you test creating a new library with a new folder path and placing this media in the new library to see if you get the same results.

@Happy2Play no luck with either option. In both cases, all 5 video files show as separate movies. Honestly not a huge deal b/c I don't really care about the extras so I'll probably just delete them. Definitely something weird going on though.

Okay there may be a issue as your folder name and file names actually does not conform to multi-version requirements.  Sure the would with the plug but don't know about extras in this overall situation. @spon

Multi-version movies
Multiple versions of the same content can be stored in a single movie folder.

/Movies
  /300 (2006)
  /300 (2006)/300 (2006) - 1080p.mkv
  /300 (2006)/300 (2006) - 1080p-trailer.mp4
  /300 (2006)/300 (2006) - 4K.mkv
  /300 (2006)/300 (2006) - 720p.mp4
  /300 (2006)/300 (2006) - extended edition.mp4
  /300 (2006)/300 (2006) - directors cut.mp4
  /300 (2006)/300 (2006) - 3D.hsbs.mp4
Each version must begin with the folder name, followed by " - ".

Not sure this will work at all with your current naming scheme.

You are absolutely right. I forgot the "-" that's needed. Can't believe I didn't catch that. Thanks for your help!
