YMFTS2BB 0 Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 I moved my server from my PI 4 to my Windows system, some of my media is not scanning. All of my movies are not showing up and some of my TV show episodes are missing as well. I have one folder with other folders within it. Not sure what to do.

pwhodges 2014 Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 So you have one library, presumably specified as mixed contents? This makes it harder for Emby to sort out than separating movies and series, and so in this case it is even more important than usual to follow their naming guidelines exactly. For a mixed library, I am careful always to have one folder per movie and one folder per series (with season subfolders, even if there is only one), with all folders and media files having names following the guidelines. I have few problems as a result. Paul

But the folder for the movies is not seeing any of the movies in it. When it was on my PI everything worked great. I just moved it to a windows machine same drive and it will not read the movies.

Hi, what Emby libraries have you created, and what folder did you add to each one?
YMFTS2BB 0 Posted May 20, 2020 Author Posted May 20, 2020 I went into add library’s selected movies and went to my drive and selected the movies folder. Then tv folder for tv shows.
Misinthe 46 Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 E:\movies. And E:\emby TV Have you gone to Library > Edit and made sure the paths there are the same ones? The Letter on the Drives might've changed.
