fizzyade 132 Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 (edited) This seems like an appropriate thread as it covers what I’m about to say.... Can we have some way of marking an audio track as commentary? And..... An option to prevent automatic selection of a commentary track on playback? Edit: Or/And an option to do the above ignoring if the track name includes the word commentary. @@fizzyade @@Happy2Play please move my request to a new feature request topic. Thanks. crusher11 1101 Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 You can already do the first two things if you name the track correctly in MKVToolnix, set the correct audio track as the default, and enable "prefer embedded titles" in the Advanced Library Settings.
fizzyade 132 Posted May 18, 2020 Author Posted May 18, 2020 You can already do the first two things if you name the track correctly in MKVToolnix, set the correct audio track as the default, and enable "prefer embedded titles" in the Advanced Library Settings. These tracks are named as commentary and are not default, but, I suspect they're being picked as the track to play by emby due to cthis particular client supporting only stereo LPCM, and these commentary tracks happen to be stereo LPCM. The default track is AC3.
