emby connect

little confused on this

 

the infuse app has been released for emby but it needs emby connect to access it .

 

1. Do i need to set up an emby connect account for my own server ?

 

2.i like to keep my server local only, will this affect that at all

I don't really know much about it but I don't know why Infuse would require Connect so I would first inquire on that.

Both methods are supported:

 

In Add media server area:

 

1. If you click "Connect to Emby", Emby Connect is used

2. If you click in available servers, you can connect to your server providing url, user and password
