Media playback starts but immediately stops

I'm playing videos from a remote NAS on the webapp.

 

The media is direct playing, has a bitrate of 15.62MBps.

 

I did iperf3 measurements, it's 23MBps from nas to my computer (where I'm using the webapp).

 

The webapp's bandwidth diagram is like this:

 

 

This means the webapp starts loading then stops and wait a long time before retry.

 

I'm seeing a lot of:

HLS Error: Type: networkError Details: fragLoadTimeOut Fatal: false

In the JS console.

 

 

I found the same issue on Amazon (FireTV) player.

 

 

However, the bandwidth is good, as these players work as intended without delays, stopping (with direct streaming the same file):

• LGTV native Emby app
• Emby Theatre on Windows

 

Is there a chance to improve HLS playback parameters in the webapp? Is it open-source?

The problem solved, it was actually a router misconfiguration which prevented the player to start and keep playing. This topic shall be deleted as it has nothing to do with Emby.
