mabooth 0 Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 @@chef I am trying to setup my Homeassistant and the Emby Latest Media Plugin and link it to my emby server. Home Assistant component to feed Upcoming Media Card with the latest releases on an Emby instance. as part of the configuration it is asking for my user_id. sensor:- platform: emby_upcoming_mediaapi_key: YOUR_EMBY_API_KEYuser_id: YOUR_EMBY_USER_IDhost: 192.168.1.4port: 8096ssl: Truemax: 5use_backdrop: trueinclude:- Movies- TV Shows I have tried looking in the user.db but that didn't work. The docs state the following. The id of the user you want to impersonate. Note: this is an id, not a username. Spy on Emby API calls to retrieve yours. (The Libraries and Medias that get retrieved depend on what that user has access to) not sure how to "Spy"? Regards,
