DVR mistagged recording

I recently found a movie I wanted to watch, however it was a channel that normally didn't air movies so the movie wasn't tagged and was treated as an episode, so there's no identify option that I can see...

 

Is there a way that I can change this recording to a "movie" so I can properly identify it?

If you rename the recording to conform to movie naming standards, put it in a folder with the same name then move it to your movie library you should be good to go.

 

Example:

moviename (2020) - folder name

moviename (2020).mp4 - file name

Ok thanks, didn't even think of that

 

The recording was tied to the nfo files, so I just removed those and renamed it and it picked it up great
