Is it possible to change the behavior of the play button when "resume" is selected?

Currently if I'm on the details screen for a title I'm part way through, with the "resume from" button highlighted, pressing the play button on the remote starts from the beginning.

 

This has tripped me up several times. Is it possible to change, so that it resumes when I do this?
