New NAS, is there a contraindication to the use Emby with one of these NAS?

Hi all,

 

My DS214PLay has not started since this morning and I will replace it in a few days / weeks.

 

I hesitate between the following NAS:

DS218Play,

DS218 +,

DS220 + (Intel Celeron J4025),

DS418Play,

DS420 + (Intel Celeron J4025),

DS718 +,

DS420 + (Intel Celeron J4125).

 

I am only at the beginning of my reflection, but I wanted to know if there were contraindications for one of these NAS in the use of Emby server?

I am thinking more particularly of hardware transcoding which did not work with ds214play

 

For information, the 220 have not yet been officially announced, and I fear that Emby is not immediately compatible with them.

 

If you have advice, remarks or warnings, I am interested.

If you need to transcode and want to use vaapi then eliminate the ones without an Intel processor.  ds218play has a Realtek
