Emby Theather not connecting to server

Out of nowhere today Emby theater decided it could not see the server. Its on the same computer and all was working this morning.

 

I can see the server if I am using my tablet or phone. Theater says I need to wake my server but its on and running. I can connect to the internet so all that is fine. Emby Theater wont do anything if i try to manually connect or will it connect to Emby Connect the button does nothing when clicked.

 

I have reinstalled Theater but still no joy any ideas

whatever one is on the Emby download page as I deleted the one i was running which should have been the latest and installed a new one from Emby site

I see that there is a new update being rolled out. Perhaps this is the issue as it can't see my server. Let's see if anyone else has this issue. Is there a site where I can get older versions of Theater so I can download those

I also do have the same issue. Last night it was ok but now I cannot connect Theater, Emby Connect is fine and working, have other using it but I'm trying to load or  use Theater and keeps failing. Another thing I notice, starting this week any of my HDR will not ply, it stay in a constant loading stage.

 

I did paid for my membership (Monthly), did got the email confirmation, so why suddenly Theater stop working ? or how it can be fixed ?

 

Tried waking up and it stated, it need more time, the thing is both Emby connect and Theater are in the same PC and no external drives, so three's no need to wake up anything, etc

The version number is displayed at the bottom of the settings screen.

Sorry but the only screen I can get is this when I open Theater.  Emby connect wont do anything, the other two buttons cant see the server The server  version is 4,4,2,0

I looked in File Explorer and went to the Emby folder and the Emby Theater .exe had the file version 3.0.11.0

Anyone else having this issue? Its not to bad I can use the the server to watch my films but would be great to use Theater again

Have you tried clicking add server and entering the address manually?

yes its cant find the server neither can i sign in with emby connect when i press that button it does nothing. I have deleted Theater and downloaded the latest version but still no joy

Restarted my router, my computer and re installed Theater again and it is working . Perhaps it was the router as I had not reset that before
