Hi Everyone,

It's my first post so sorry if I get this wrong.

I've had a srtange problem with Emby for the last few weeks in that when it triggers a scan of the Libraries it gets stuck at 88.3% after while emby then becomes unresponsive and I have to close the server app or restart the acutal server. I've removed pluggins i dont use or havent installed. I've also removed films that were showing errors in the logs. I'm not really sure what else to try. I've now had to stop the sched task from running as it locks the sever up so family cant use it.

I can upload the logs but is there an easy way to remove the real world IP's?

Thanks everyone. :)

How many total libraries are you scanning? My suggestion would be to start over with adding 1 library at a time, RUN a Library scan and see if it is successful. If so, add the next library and do a scan. And so on.....Once you find the library that is the culprit, you can then look at those files and only add HALF of those to the library and repeat the process. Takes a little time but this will get it down to the to figuring out the file causing the problem.

Hi there, the more library features you enable and plugins you install, the longer the scans will take.

You can also PM the log file to me. Thanks.

I'm having a similar issue, but it's not getting stuck at the same percentage each time, and when it happens I'm unable to stop it manually - the red "stopping" text appears and stays there. Restarting the server via the dashboard also doesn't work, I get the "server is rebooting" message with the spinning wheel and that also gets stuck there. The only way to resolve it is to kill the server from the package center.

I've managed to find that in the logs thats its on random shows and films I'm working throug hthe libraries and emoving any shows or films that cause this, It's odd as these have been in the libraries since I built the server over a year ago and I've never had any problems until now. I've sent the log files to Luke so I'm hoping he spots something. I'll let you know.

Even rebooting the server from the package center hasn't helped this time, upon reopening it the library scan is still stuck exactly where it was before.
