Playback Reporting: Summary > Filter?

How does the 'Filter:' field work on the summary tab of the playback reporting plugin?

 

It doesn't seem to matter what I type in I get a blank page in return.... Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

 

How would I for example: Search for all instances of a specific/partial media title or look for all audio/movie/episode content instead of a full list of everything?

Use wild card matching with *

 

Example:

star wars*
