Connection Issue

Has anyone encounted accessing Emby internally via WiFi (through Android phone or TVs) or externally.  I cannot access Emby anywhere but where the server is installed, which is on my computer.

Hi.  It sounds like maybe you have a firewall blocking access.  Please see: Connectivity

Thanks for the reply.  I thought the samething but I cant connect via wifi from inside the house.  Would the firewall block the server internally too?

Yes as that machine would be blocking all systems trying to connect to it via that port.

Yes.  The Firewall is running on the server machine.

Thanks...that fixed the issue.  I see a couple of different Embyserver items listed in my firewall.  

 

This must have been an Windows Update fix, as my access was working a couple of days ago.
