Why aren't my anime episodes playing automatically

Hi, i just want to add in the current version of emby 4.4.2.0 the next episodes still not working. I tried to play some series of anime and it was stopped after the movie plays. Im using server 2012 r2 for hosting my emby server. Im experiencing similar problem of what they had experienced from the previous version. Can you advise on how to deal with it? Please note that my home screen was setup to play the next up and in the playback option, the play next episode automatically was ticked. Appreciate your help on this.

Hi.  This looks like it is using the web app but I can see from your screenshots that these items are not properly identified as episodes of a TV series.  Please explain exactly how you set this library up and what the file/folder naming and structure is.

Thank you for your response. Yes you are correct, this is a web app, however, i'm having problem from both android and web app. I created this in the library using the movie content. The sample structure for my series are below. This morning, i tried to use the content of TV series, however, it gave me a blank output if i click the series name without any file inside. See attached file structure.

 

Network\Series\Naruto\Naruto1 and so on and so on..

Network\Series\Bravestarr\Bravestarr 1 and so on and so on

Network\Series\Voltes V\Voltes V 1 and so on and so on.

 

Update: I tried to use the TV Show content and it was gave me the same result.

What were you using before? They have to actually be episodes in order for this feature to work, so it's not as if there are many choices of what content type you're able to use.

Hi Luke and EBR,

 

Thank you, it was working perfectly now without flaws. Its very similar to netflix now . I will raise another topic regarding the connectivity for android. Some testers are able to connect to my emby server using their android devices, however, other can't.  Id like to seek your help on this on another topic.
