How to output to Emby servers sound card?

Hi all,

 

So far Emby has been great for streaming content. However, I would also like to remotely control music on the server itself.

 

My Emby server is also connected to a receiver and to our whole house audio system.

 

So the music itself has to output to the server's sound card and I would like to be able to remotely control it.

 

Is this possible with Emby?

No. It's just line-out from the sound card to the receiver

You could run Emby Theater on the machine and then control that from other Emby apps.
