About Movie Collections - EmbyServer 4.4.2.0

Hi,

I had already commented on another topic about the issue of Emby duplicating the film collections.

I don't use (and I did) the plugin suggested by @@Luke which could be the cause of duplication.

I just select the movie and click on the item Add to Collection and add it to the Collection previously created or create it at the moment, if it does not already exist.

The image shows only a small part of my collections, all manually created as mentioned above.

So I had already manually deleted each of the several duplicate Collections, but for some reason Emby redoes the duplication and the strangest thing is the fact that Emby does not duplicate 100% of the

Collections, but some, around 30% of them.

I even did several tests in an attempt to establish a logic for this error, but hours and hours did not help in this respect.

Thanks now for any tips.

I actually have a suspicion. I use several libraries for Films (Subtitled Films, Dubbed Films, Fimes Cult, HD Films, Dual Audio Films etc.) and I realized that when opening any of these libraries, when clicking on the upper submenu, (Collections) Emby shows only Collections related to open library.

This may be the cause of the problem and I believe that the most appropriate would be the Collections submenu (manually created) showing the total Collections present on the Emby server, regardless of the existing libraries, that is, the unification of the Collections database in a single location, a single file.

The duplication is only displayed (I think) when clicking on the Coletânea library (manually created) and not on the Coletânea submenu, standard of Emby.

This is about the same thing as the other topic, right?

No.

In the other topic I just commented on the duplications in Collections, but there, it refers to another theme, so I chose to create this specific topic about the Collections created manually and duplicated.
