Allow only tags option not showing any Genres

I have a user that I am using the "Allow only items with these tags" option enabled. When I go to my Genre tab in my libraries nothing shows up. If I disable the tag option they are back. Is this how it is supposed to work? Or am I missing something?

Sorry can you go over an example as Tags has nothing to do with Genre.

That's what I thought as well. I have kids tagged on certain movies so those are the only ones to show up on their user. But no genres are showing up in the movies library tab. If I switch to "block items with these tags" genres show up again.

I see what you are saying in my tests.

 

@@Luke when applying "Allow only items with these tags" it is blocking items from appearing on the genre tab.  We are still able to click the genres from within the item and get all items applied to the genre though.  As mentioned reversing the tag option to "Block items with these tags" allows the genre tab to show items and only blocking tagged items.

 

My test was on beta 4.5.0.8
