I just updated it. and tried again and it still didn't work.

Make sure the emby user can atleast read/execute your stored video files.

Via the freenas plugin.

If you're on Freenas 11.3 and installed via the community plugin, check out this post to set your permissions. It's an easy fix now.

If you're not on 11.3 yet, setting permissions is a bit more complex. I'd recommend keeping it simple and upgrading to 11.3, it's been very stable for me.
