Playing a photo album as a slideshow

When you are playing a photo album as a slideshow, the TV constantly goes to the standby/screensaver mode. You need to sit and shake your remote every 30 seconds in order to see the slideshow

 

I believe the WebOS version is 05.30.85

This is just a suggestion. Don't know the LG api, but here goes:

Since you are able to bypass standby mode when playing a video - why don't you play a short video in the background in a loop.

Hi, @@SamES can research and confirm but unfortunately I don't think LG gives us a way to stop this from happening.

I've had another look through the api documentation and there does not appear to be any way to disable this during playback.
