Full Scan Library Icon

i use emby docker server and to scan the library i have to do so many click, 1 open emby home page, 2 click on the settings icon or hamburger menu click manage server , then scheduled task and run scan from there, or i can click each library on the main page a scan library from there, is there a way you guys can add a icon on the web gui maybe next to user icon or some where there or under the hamburger menu a quick icon to do a full scan all the library without the need to go to all that steps, i have scheduled task to run everyday at 12:00pm but many times i need to do a quick scan, i don't like to use real time monitoring folders i know that option is there, or do i miss something that i don't see

This might be slightly quicker. I always scan this way as opposed to finding the scheduled task

 

Settings -> Library -> Scan Library Files

You can do it from the main browsing section by right clicking a library.

yeah luke but when you have a few library means more steps, Settings -> Library -> Scan Library Files that right the are 3 clicks just to do a scan, i'm not a designer so i have not idea how much work would be be to add one click full scan, but will be much better and plus we got all the space on the main browsing to add one button like i say even under the hamburger menu, anyways i hope that if no to much job you will considered, thanks

Unless it is a setup limitation, I don't understand why the button would be needed.  Is there a reason you would need on demand library scanning directly in the non admin ui?
